Ellie Jane Goulding is a British born on 30 December 1986. Tracey Goulding Summers is her mother. Her father Arthur Goulding comes from a funeral family that is a home. Goulding's older sister Isabel as well as her second sister Jordan are all sisters. Alex is her brother. Alex his brother is a bass player as well as a Hereford Band member. As a girl, her mother encouraged the young woman to get into musical instruments. At nine, she began studying clarinet.
